I have a strong belief that photography is an art-form in its own right & can be used to portray the widest spectrum of subjects, from abstract to the more familiar seen from a different perspective. A camera in skill-full hands is as creative as any other media & can be used to great effect.
It is fair to say, that next to people, places come in a close second to being photographed! When you consider the number holiday images which are taken every year. The skill of a professional photographer is find something different or something different in the familiar.
Photography is about capturing a 'moment' most of which tend to involve people. It could be as simple single person smiling to themselves or a wedding where friends & family celebrate the joining. The photographers' goal is to capture the atmosphere & communicate to the viewer.
